Your School Board ADMINISTRATION

The Laurenvale Commission (a non-ward system) is composed of five elected members who play a vital part in all aspects of education from bus transportation to the psychology of teaching.

In both elementary and high schools teachers participate actively in planning with board members and principals,

The four Laurenvale elementary schools are administered by a principals' committee. This group holds regular discussions with staff members and meets once a month with the board. The agenda varies from math. instruction to the teaching of French. Concerning the latter, the board regrets that French Catholic teachers are generally uninterested in accepting positions with a Protestant Board owing to the higher Roman Catholic salary scale.
