A Senior at last!

Junior High students are sometimes informed by their more advanced schoolmates that they are not really in high school as long as they remain on the lower floor. The move upstairs occurs in grade 9 and now the student encounters a variety of optional courses, subject promotion and individual time tables.

The "A" student is encouraged to take the honours course which provides for enrichment and acceleration. He may, for stance, complete his grade 11 chemistry and physics in one year instead of two and thus graduate from high school with 11 or 12 papers to his credit rather than the minimum of 10 required for university entrance.

In the regular college prep. course the student has the opportunity of taking one or two vocational courses, such as typing or woodworking in addition to the academic program.

The girl who is not academically inclined can prepare herself for a stenographic career in the commercial department.
